Bologna strike twice in the opening 16 minutes and hold on to secure three points ahead of their European clash on Matchday 31.
Bologna continued their strong run of form with a 2-1 victory over Cremonese, scoring twice early to take control of the match and secure a valuable win ahead of their Europa League quarterfinal against Aston Villa.
The visitors wasted no time asserting themselves, opening the scoring after just three minutes. Joao Mario capped off a brilliant individual move with a precise left-footed finish to give Bologna an immediate advantage.
The Rossoblù doubled their lead in the 16th minute, as Miranda delivered a perfect ball into the box for Rowe, who made no mistake from close range to make it 2-0.
From that point on, Bologna managed the game effectively, controlling possession and limiting Cremonese’s attacking opportunities. The home side struggled to create clear chances, with their best moment coming early in the second half when Federico Bonazzoli threatened but failed to convert.
