Lazio are held by Parma despite a second-half response, missing the chance for a fourth straight win on Matchday 31.
Lazio were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Parma at the Stadio Olimpico, as a second-half equalizer from substitute Tijjani Noslin canceled out an earlier strike from Enrico Delprato.
The result halts Lazio’s momentum, denying Maurizio Sarri’s side a fourth consecutive Serie A victory, while Parma take another valuable step toward securing safety.
Parma executed their game plan effectively and took the lead after just 15 minutes. Following a set-piece situation, the ball fell kindly to captain Delprato, who placed a precise finish beyond Motta to stun the home crowd.
Lazio struggled to find rhythm against Parma’s compact defensive setup, with limited space in the final third. The visitors nearly doubled their lead when Emanuele Valeri unleashed a powerful effort, but Motta produced a superb save to keep Lazio in the game.
Sarri reacted by overhauling his attacking line early in the second half, introducing fresh energy into the frontline. The changes gradually shifted momentum, with Manuel Lazzari among those making an impact.
The equalizer arrived in the 77th minute, as Noslin combined with Taylor before firing toward goal, with a slight deflection off Circati helping the ball past Suzuki.
Lazio pushed for a late winner, but Parma held firm, earning a deserved point from a disciplined performance in Rome.
