Juventus Close to Re-Signing Randal Kolo Muani as Giovanni Carnevali Pushes Deal Toward Finish Line

The French striker is expected to return to Turin before preseason begins, with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain finalizing the structure of a loan deal that includes a permanent purchase clause.

Juventus are on the verge of bringing Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin.

After weeks of negotiations, the Bianconeri have made significant progress in talks with Paris Saint-Germain, and club officials are now confident the French international will be part of Luciano Spalletti’s squad when preseason training begins on July 13.

The appointment of new chief executive Giovanni Carnevali has accelerated discussions with the French champions, helping rebuild relations between the two clubs and moving the transfer toward completion.

According to reports in Italy, only the final contractual details remain before the deal becomes official.

The agreement is expected to be structured as an initial loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, with Kolo Muani’s overall valuation set at approximately €30 million.

The striker is also expected to sign a five-year contract with Juventus.

Kolo Muani has made it clear throughout the negotiations that returning to Juventus was his preferred destination.

After his previous spell in Turin, the 27-year-old believes he can continue developing under Spalletti while building on the strong relationships he established with teammates and supporters.

His versatility is one of the qualities that particularly appeals to the Juventus coaching staff.

Comfortable as a central striker, second forward or wide attacker, Kolo Muani fits Spalletti’s tactical philosophy thanks to his pace, movement behind defenses and ability to link play in multiple attacking roles.

Juventus view him as the centerpiece of their new-look attack following the departure of Dušan Vlahović.

The club believes his familiarity with Serie A will also allow him to make an immediate impact without requiring a lengthy adaptation period.

While Kolo Muani is expected to become the starting striker, Juventus are still planning to add another center forward before the transfer window closes.

Spalletti has repeatedly emphasized the importance of having three reliable strikers to compete across Serie A, the UEFA Champions League and domestic cup competitions.

If negotiations continue as expected, Kolo Muani’s return could be finalized in the coming days, allowing him to report for preseason alongside the rest of the squad at Continassa.

For Juventus, securing one of their top summer priorities would represent another major step in rebuilding an attack designed to compete for trophies both in Italy and across Europe.
