The Derby d’Italia lived up to its billing, delivering ninety minutes of pure drama and intensity at the Allianz Stadium. In a spectacular clash filled with twists and turns, Juventus came out on top, defeating Inter 4-3 thanks to a last-minute stunner from substitute Adzic. The Bianconeri remain perfect in Serie A, while Inter suffer their second straight defeat.
Inter started on the front foot and nearly struck early when Barella’s brilliant volley flew just wide in the third minute. Chivu’s side dictated the tempo in the opening stages, while Juventus sat deep and looked to counter.
The home side struck first in the 14th minute. Locatelli floated a perfect ball into the box for Bremer, who volleyed it across goal to Kelly. The defender showed great composure to slot home with his left foot, beating Sommer to make it 1-0.
Inter responded on the half-hour mark through Calhanoglu, whose precise low strike from outside the box brought the match level at 1-1.
Juventus regained the lead just eight minutes later when Yildiz unleashed a spectacular long-range effort, sending the home crowd into a frenzy and giving his team a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
The second half was equally thrilling. Calhanoglu struck again in the 65th minute with another clinical finish to tie the game at 2-2. Inter then completed the comeback in the 76th minute when Marcus Thuram rose highest to head home a Dimarco corner, putting the Nerazzurri ahead for the first time.
The drama didn’t stop there. In the 83rd minute, Juventus found another equalizer through Khephren Thuram — facing off against his brother Marcus — who nodded in a powerful header to make it 3-3.
When it seemed the points would be shared, Adzic, who had only just come on, unleashed a stunning strike from distance in stoppage time, sealing an unforgettable 4-3 victory for Juventus and sending the Allianz Stadium into chaos.
