Biancocelesti rally on Matchday 35 as Isaksen shines and Cremonese’s survival hopes take a major hit
Lazio secured a dramatic 2-1 comeback win over Cremonese, scoring a stoppage-time winner to claim three crucial points and deepen the hosts’ relegation concerns.
Cremonese struck first in the 29th minute through Federico Bonazzoli, who capitalized on a defensive mistake to slot home at the near post. The goal came after a strong run down the right by Floriani Mussolini, whose cutback found the striker in space. Lazio goalkeeper Marco Motta was far from convincing on the play, allowing the ball to slip through.
The home side looked organized and dangerous in the first half, while Lazio struggled to find rhythm, with Daniel Maldini failing to make an impact in attack.
Everything changed after the break.
Lazio equalized early in the second half thanks to a well-worked team move. Nuno Tavares burst forward before linking up with Tijjani Noslin, who delivered a perfectly weighted assist for Gustav Isaksen to finish and make it 1-1 in the 53rd minute.
The visitors pushed for a winner and found it deep into stoppage time. Substitute Boulaye Dia helped initiate the final attack before Noslin took center stage, curling a stunning shot into the top corner to seal the comeback and secure all three points.
For Lazio, it was a statement win driven by impactful substitutions and attacking quality. For Cremonese, the defeat leaves them four points behind Lecce with just three games remaining, making their survival bid increasingly difficult.
