Torino 1–0 Lecce: Adams the Difference as Granata End Losing Streak

Ché Adams strikes before halftime to hand Torino a much-needed win, Falcone keeps Lecce alive, but Banda’s late effort crashes off the post.

Torino finally stopped the slide, edging Lecce 1–0 at home to claim their first Serie A victory after four consecutive defeats. A first-half tap-in from Ché Adams proved decisive, while a solid defensive display and a touch of luck late on saw the Granata over the line.

Torino asserted control from the opening minutes, setting the tempo and pinning Lecce back. The breakthrough arrived just before the half-hour mark: Nikola Vlašić delivered a perfectly weighted ball to the far post, where Adams timed his run impeccably to slot home from close range for 1–0.

Lecce responded before the break through Gandelman, whose effort forced Paleari into a sharp save, but chances remained limited for the visitors.

The second half opened with Torino pushing for a second goal. Vlašić was again the architect, surging forward and crossing for Zapata, whose stretched finish was brilliantly denied by Wladimiro Falcone. The Lecce goalkeeper was at it again moments later, reacting superbly to a close-range header from Maripán, with Danilo Veiga clearing the danger off the line.

As the match wore on, Lecce grew in confidence. The best chance to equalize fell to Banda late in the game, his curling right-footed shot beating Paleari but crashing against the post, much to Torino’s relief.

The scoreline remained unchanged, sealing a crucial win that lifts Torino nine points clear of the relegation zone. Lecce, meanwhile, stay just above the drop, with only a slender cushion over Fiorentina.
