Como and Atalanta played out a dramatic goalless draw in Serie A, a result defined by Atalanta’s resilience and a missed penalty in the final seconds. Reduced to ten men after just seven minutes, Raffaele Palladino’s side escaped the Sinigaglia with what felt like a “platinum point,” thanks largely to an outstanding Marco Carnesecchi.
The match took a decisive turn almost immediately. In the 7th minute, Ahanor was shown a straight red card for striking Perrone off the ball following a tussle that began inside Como’s penalty area. From that moment on, the game became attack versus defense.
Como pressed relentlessly, especially in the first half, firing shots from all angles. Carnesecchi was unbeatable, responding sharply to every attempt and benefiting from crucial blocks by his defenders.
