A thrilling draw at the Tardini Stadium saw Parma fight back from two goals down to hold Milan 2–2, denying Massimiliano Allegri’s team a chance to leapfrog Napoli, even temporarily, at the top of Serie A.
The Rossoneri looked in full control after 25 minutes. First, Saelemaekers broke the deadlock with a precise left-footed strike that wrong-footed Suzuki. Then the Belgian drew a foul from Ndiaye, earning a penalty that Leao converted with his trademark composure to make it 2–0.
But just when the match seemed decided, Parma’s spirit kicked in. In first-half stoppage time, Bernabé — in superb form — produced a stunning curling finish to halve the deficit and reignite the home crowd.
The momentum fully shifted after the break. Captain Delprato, tireless in both phases, surged forward repeatedly and finally found the equalizer on the hour mark, heading in Britschgi’s second assist of the evening. Moments earlier, Pellegrino had hit the post, a sign of Parma’s growing belief.
Allegri threw on Pulisic and Loftus-Cheek to regain control, but Milan wasted two golden opportunities: Pulisic shot wide after a dazzling Leao backheel, and Saelemaekers blazed over with the goal gaping. Maignan kept out Hernani’s free kick, and Suzuki made amends for earlier uncertainty by saving Modric’s late attempt to preserve the draw.
For Milan, it’s two points dropped; for Cuesta’s Parma, a night to remember.
