What a night at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio and Torino shared the spoils in a dramatic 3–3 draw that had everything — quality, chaos, and controversy. Danilo Cataldi’s penalty deep into stoppage time (the 103rd minute!) salvaged a point for Maurizio Sarri’s men, breaking Torino hearts after they had led twice in the game.
The Granata struck first through Giovanni Simeone, who seems to come alive every time he steps onto the Olimpico pitch. Provedel could only parry a cross-shot from Pedersen, and Simeone reacted like a true poacher to make it 1–0 — his second goal in as many appearances in Rome.
Lazio responded quickly and spectacularly. Matteo Cancellieri, in sparkling form, hammered home a left-footed drive to level the score before putting the Biancocelesti ahead with another dazzling individual effort — beating Lazaro with pace and precision before slotting past Israel for 2–1 at halftime.
