Here is the news, with surprise included. The Como today presented the new home jersey of the club for the season 2026/27, designed by Chief Brand Officer Rhuigi Villaseñor in collaboration with Adidas.
The surprise we said: instead of throwing the shirt in a studio or in the field, Como invited people who live in the heart of the city to wear it first. The staff of the restaurants and the ferry terminal welcomed customers and passengers wearing the new mesh, placing it directly in the rhythm of everyday life of Como.
Rhuigi’s design offers a refined interpretation of one of the traditional blue shirts of the club, combining vertical tone lines with white details on the shoulders and a classic polo collar. Details in red, white and gold complete the collar and sleeves, while the writing “Semm Cumasch” is hand-reported under the back collar and is more than a simple motto. It is an expression of belonging and shared identity that unites the club, its fans and the city.
The jersey will be worn during a historical season, while the Como 1907 is preparing to play for the first time the UEFA Champions League, bringing the identity of the city to the largest football stage in Europe. Obviously also in the championship and Coppa Italia: debut at the Como Cup next week.
The jersey will also bring the logo of Revolut on the front as an official club partner for the season 2026/27.
“I wanted this shirt to convey a sense of familiarity, as if it had always belonged to Como. The pole collar and the thin stripes in tone on tone recall an era in which the football shirts were characterized by a certain elegance and solemnity, but the proportions and details definitely report it to the present. Respect the origins of the club, dressing it at the same time for the future“. Rhuigi Villaseñor commented on the inspiration behind the shirt.
