Juventus 4-0 Pisa: Yildiz Leads Second-Half Rout as Juve Close on Top Four

After a sluggish first half, Juventus explode after the break with goals from Cambiaso, Thuram, Yildiz and Boga on Matchday 27.

Juventus FC returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion, defeating Pisa SC 4-0 at the Allianz Stadium on Matchday 28 of Serie A.

Luciano Spalletti’s side struggled in the opening half but came alive after the break, producing four goals and moving temporarily to within one point of the Champions League places.

Slow Start, Pisa Threaten

The first half offered little excitement from the hosts. Pisa, despite sitting at the bottom of the table, nearly shocked the stadium early on.

Moreo’s powerful header forced Mattia Perin into a difficult save that required help from the post. Juventus looked sluggish and struggled to break down Pisa’s organized defensive shape.

The Bianconeri’s best chances before halftime came from set pieces, with efforts from Thuram and Locatelli flying over the bar. Nicolas also reacted well to deny Francisco Conceição.

Juventus had one final opportunity before the interval, but Jonathan David headed over the crossbar from close range — a miss that summed up his difficult evening before being substituted at halftime.

Yildiz Sparks the Breakthrough

Spalletti reshuffled at the break, introducing Jeremie Boga and shifting Kenan Yildiz into a false-nine role.

The change paid immediate dividends.

In the 54th minute, Yildiz delivered a perfectly weighted cross after Nicolas ventured off his line, allowing Andrea Cambiaso to head home the opener. The goal unlocked the match.

Just eleven minutes later, Juventus doubled their lead. Manuel Locatelli struck the post from distance, and Khephren Thuram reacted quickest to slot home the rebound.

Juve Run Riot

With confidence flowing, Juventus continued to dominate.

In the 75th minute, Yildiz capped his excellent performance by cutting inside at the edge of the box and firing a precise right-footed strike into the corner for 3-0.

Deep into stoppage time, substitute Boga added the final flourish with a well-taken finish to complete the rout.

Juventus finally found their rhythm — and their victory — in style.
