Two January exits for Antonio Conte’s squad as Napoli reshape their roster mid-season
Napoli are preparing to part ways with Lorenzo Lucca and Noa Lang, with both players set to begin new chapters away from Serie A. The club have finalized loan agreements that will see one move to the Premier League and the other to Turkey.
Lucca is on the verge of joining Nottingham Forest, with all terms now in place. The Italian striker will move to the Premier League side on a paid loan worth €2 million, while the agreement also includes a purchase option set at €35 million. Signed from Udinese last summer, Lucca struggled to establish himself in Antonio Conte’s system, scoring two goals in 23 appearances across all competitions.
Noa Lang’s destination, meanwhile, will be Istanbul. The Dutch winger is set to join Galatasaray, also on a loan deal valued at €2 million, with a €30 million option to buy included in the agreement. After arriving from PSV, Lang found limited continuity in Naples, registering just one goal in 27 matches across domestic and European competitions.
Both players are expected to travel later today after saying goodbye to teammates, as Napoli continue to fine-tune their squad during the January transfer window. The departures underline Conte’s willingness to make decisive adjustments as the club balances immediate ambitions with long-term planning.
