Gian Piero Gasperini could hardly have asked for more from his new striker. Malen announced himself in Serie A with an outstanding first half, marked not only by the opening goal but by constant movement, physical presence, and instant chemistry with Dybala. The second half was more balanced, with Roma finding fewer spaces but maintaining control and defensive solidity. The match was effectively decided in the 72nd minute, when Dybala capped his performance with a composed left-footed finish from close range, sealing the result.
