Atalanta 1–1 Como: Samardzic Scores, Perrone Responds in Thrilling Draw

Both sides create plenty but have to settle for a point — Atalanta stay unbeaten, while Como stretch their positive run to four matches.

Atalanta and Como shared the spoils in Bergamo after an entertaining 1–1 draw that showcased intensity, quality, and chances at both ends. Samardzic opened the scoring early for the home side, but Como’s Perrone struck back with a fortunate equalizer in the first half, ensuring Cesc Fàbregas’ men extended their unbeaten streak to four games.

Ivan Jurić made several changes to his lineup, handing Ademola Lookman his first Serie A start of the season. Como, meanwhile, were forced to leave Kuhn out due to injury, giving Baturina his debut from the start.

The game began at a furious pace. Just three minutes in, Hien produced a brilliant sliding recovery to deny Douvikas, and moments later started the move that led to Atalanta’s opener. After an exchange with Ederson, Samardzic fired a precise left-footed shot past Butez to make it 1–0.

Atalanta looked set to double their lead, with Sulemana and Ederson both going close, but Como’s Perrone made a heroic goal-line clearance on 15 minutes to keep the visitors alive. One minute later, Como hit back — Perrone’s cross from the right took a strange deflection, kissed the far post, and went in for a 1–1 equalizer.

The first half continued to deliver end-to-end action, with Lookman curling a shot just wide of the post before the break.

The second half followed the same pattern. Atalanta pushed hard through Sulemana and Maldini, but Como defended bravely, with Butez and Diego Carlos standing firm. Maldini’s effort in the 78th minute forced a sharp save, but neither side could find a breakthrough in the closing stages.

The final whistle confirmed a fair result: Atalanta remain unbeaten but drop points again after back-to-back draws, while Como continue to surprise under Fàbregas, combining resilience with flashes of quality.
