Como 5-0 Pisa: Fabregas’ Side Run Riot to Strengthen Fourth Place

Diao, Douvikas, Baturina, Paz, and Perrone power Como to a dominant win as their Champions League push gains momentum on Serie A Matchday 30.

Como continue their remarkable run of form, thrashing Pisa 5–0 at the Stadio Sinigaglia to secure their fifth consecutive victory and solidify fourth place in the Serie A standings.

Cesc Fabregas’ side delivered a complete performance, overwhelming their opponents from start to finish and extending their lead over Juventus in the race for Champions League qualification.

The hosts wasted little time asserting their dominance. After an early warning from Pisa, Como struck in the 7th minute through Assane Diao, who capitalized on a defensive error from Stefano Moreo and finished with a precise left-footed shot across goal.

Como maintained control and doubled their lead in the 29th minute. Diao was again involved, forcing a weak attempt that fell kindly for Anastasios Douvikas, who reacted quickly to poke the ball home and make it 2–0.

Despite an injury setback to Sergi Roberto before halftime, Como continued to press and came close to extending their advantage further before the break.

The second half followed the same pattern. Just three minutes after the restart, substitute Martin Baturina made an immediate impact, finishing clinically to make it 3–0 and effectively end the contest.

Pisa briefly thought they had pulled one back, but their efforts were twice denied by offside calls, first against Stojilkovic and then against Meister.

Como remained relentless. In the 75th minute, Nico Paz added a fourth goal with a composed finish following an assist from Moreno. The scoring was completed in the 86th minute when Maximo Perrone capped a brilliant team move to seal a resounding 5–0 victory.

The result highlights Como’s growing confidence and attacking quality as they head into the international break in excellent form, firmly in control of a Champions League spot.

For Pisa, the heavy defeat leaves them rooted near the bottom of the table and increasingly close to relegation.
