Down to ten men before halftime and nine in the final stretch, Lazio defy the odds in Parma as Tijjani Noslin capitalizes on a late defensive error to secure three dramatic points on Matchday 15.
Lazio pulled off one of the most remarkable results of the Serie A season, edging Parma 1–0 away despite playing more than a half with ten men and the final minutes with just nine. At the Stadio Tardini, the decisive moment came in the 82nd minute, when substitute Tijjani Noslin punished a costly mistake from Lautaro Valenti to give Maurizio Sarri’s side an unforgettable victory.
The first half was balanced and physical. Parma showed early intent through Bernabé, whose left-footed effort forced a solid save from Ivan Provedel, while Lazio answered with a dangerous strike from Basic, denied by Edoardo Corvi. Both teams had half-chances, including a goal-line clearance by Estevez to deny Adam Marušić.
The match turned just before halftime. Lazio captain Mattia Zaccagni was shown a straight red card for a high challenge on Estevez, leaving the visitors a man down for the entire second half. Parma tried to exploit the numerical advantage but struggled to create clear chances, often running into a compact and disciplined Lazio defense.
Things became even more complicated for Sarri’s men in the 78th minute, when Basic was also sent off for a reaction foul, reducing Lazio to nine players. Yet, in a stunning twist, it was the Biancocelesti who found the breakthrough. Valenti hesitated in defense, Noslin pounced, rounded Corvi, and calmly slotted into an empty net to silence the home crowd.
Parma pushed desperately in the final minutes, with Provedel producing a crucial save on Estevez, but Lazio held firm to complete a heroic performance. The win lifts Lazio temporarily into eighth place, while Parma remain dangerously close to the relegation zone.
