Laurienté-Sunderland, negotiation jumped: the French return to Sassuolo
The Premier League can wait. Armand Laurienté, one step from the transfer to Sunderland, will instead return to Sassuolo. The negotiation, now in the direction of arrival, has clamorously blocked in the last hours for issues related to the economic details of the contract between the player and the English club.
The French, author of a sumptuous season in Serie B with 18 goals and 5 assists in 33 appearances, had already flown to Portugal to reach the withdrawal of Sunderland, ready to start the new adventure. But something is jammed in the definition of the agreement, and the deal is definitely blurred.
Nothing that changes market plans for both Sunderland and Sassuolo. The blackouts find a footballer who seemed destined to leave, and instead will be available to Fabio Grosso, ready to integrate him again in the technical project to face the new season.
