The Como and Jean Butez still together for the next few years. The blue society today announced the renewal of the contract to the French porter until June 2030. From his arrival on the shores of Lake Como in January 2025, Butez has totaled 63 appearances and 26 clean sheets between Serie A and Coppa Italia, contributing decisively to the tenth place of last season and to the first historical qualification in the Champions League of Larians in the last season.
With him among the poles, the BiancoBlu closed the season 2025/26 with the best defense of Serie A (29 goals) and the highest number of seasonal clean sheets (19).
Commenting on the renewal of the contract, Jean Butez said he was enthusiastic: “From the first day I felt at home in Como, with the group, the club and the fans. This renewal represents the trust I have received and my happiness and my family to be here. I’m always hungry for new goals and convinced that this is only the beginning of something special: together we can bring Como ever higher. ”
