Awarded this morning in the council hall of Palazzo Pirelli (Region Lombardy) the professional football teams of Lombardy who have been successful in different title in the sports season 2025/2026. The prestigious award celebrated the sporting goals of Inter, Como, Monza, Desenzano and Folgore Caratese.
At the ceremony took part the leaders of the teams concerned: for Inter the president Giuseppe Marotta (photo below); for Como the sports director Carlalberto Ludi; for Monza the managing director Mauro Baldissoni; for Folgore Caratese the president Michele Criscitiello and for the Desenzano the president Roberto Marai. The event also attended the president of the Coni Lombardia, Marco Riva.
“The presence and goals of these prestigious companies in an institutional headquarters such as the Regional Council – said the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana – are the last confirmation of the greatness and primacy of Lombardy. Our region excels historically in every field: from the economy to the ability to attract foreign investments, to academic education, where our university sector has become a reference point not only Italian but European, able to call students from all over the world”.
Above the words of the Ds Ludi: “We with so many foreigners, but deeply linked to our territory. I would like to be here to receive the regional award.”.
