- Take a 75-minute walking tour through the athlete’s tunnel, founders’ suites, and observation deck of the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, a storied venue that has hosted two Summer Olympics, multiple Super Bowls, college football showdowns, and iconic concerts by living legends like Madonna. Next door, BMO Stadium hosts LAFC and Angel City FC matches, along with year-round events.

- Beyond the stadium walls, there’s a football bar for every kind of fan: La Chuperia in Lincoln Heights is known for the Mexican leagues, while La Cita Bar in Downtown LA is the go-to for fans of the Mexican national team – and both are likely to be even more bustling than usual, since Mexico is also a host country for the tournament. Britannia Pub in Santa Monica draws English Premier League fans, while nearby Ye Olde King’s Head is a classic British pub and restaurant just steps from the beach. Absolution Brewing Company in Torrance pairs football matches with local craft beers.

Los Angeles Stadium (SoFi Stadium)
Location: Inglewood, California, USA
Capacity: 70,000+ (expandable for major events)
Opened: 2020
FIFA World Cup 2026 Schedule: Five group-stage matches, two Round of 32 matches, and one quarter-final.
Los Angeles Stadium, known globally as SoFi Stadium, is the newest venue selected to host matches at the FIFA World Cup 2026. Opened in September 2020 in Inglewood, California, the stadium represents the latest generation of sports and entertainment architecture and is widely regarded as one of the most technologically advanced venues in the world.
Located just a short drive from the historic Rose Bowl in Pasadena, which hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final, SoFi Stadium continues Southern California’s rich World Cup legacy while offering a completely modern experience for players and fans alike.
The venue serves as the home of both the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League. It gained worldwide attention when it hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022, where the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20 in front of a sold-out crowd.
One of the stadium’s most striking features is its translucent canopy roof, which covers not only the seating bowl but also the surrounding entertainment areas. Beneath it hangs the revolutionary Infinity Screen, a double-sided 360-degree video board that is among the largest and most advanced displays ever created for a sports venue.
SoFi Stadium is the centerpiece of Hollywood Park, a vast mixed-use development that includes retail, dining, office space, hotels, parks, and entertainment facilities. Its location near downtown Los Angeles and major transportation links makes it one of the most accessible venues in the tournament.
Beyond sports, the stadium has established itself as one of the premier concert venues in the world. Global superstars such as Taylor Swift, BTS, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, and Beyoncé have performed there, attracting hundreds of thousands of fans from across the globe.
During the FIFA World Cup 2026, Los Angeles Stadium will host eight matches, including five group-stage games, two Round of 32 fixtures, and a quarter-final. As one of the tournament’s showcase venues, it is expected to deliver a spectacular atmosphere worthy of one of the world’s great sporting cities.
Did You Know? SoFi Stadium’s massive Infinity Screen stretches nearly 1,000 feet in circumference and weighs approximately 2.2 million pounds, making it one of the largest video display systems ever installed in a sports stadium.
