The Derby della Mole was halted before kickoff following violent incidents outside the stadium, with Juventus ultras demanding the match not be played.
Chaos and tension overshadowed the final night of Serie A as the Derby della Mole between Torino FC and Juventus FC was suspended following violent clashes between supporters outside the stadium.
At the moment, the match remains officially halted, with both teams having returned to the locker rooms while authorities evaluate the situation.
According to reports from Italy, serious incidents occurred before kickoff when groups of Juventus and Torino supporters came into contact near the stadium area.
Police intervened and reportedly arrested eight Juventus fans following the confrontations.
Several people were injured during the clashes, including one supporter described as being in serious condition, though not believed to be in life-threatening danger.
The news immediately created a tense atmosphere inside the stadium.
During warmups, Juventus ultras began chanting and urging the team not to play the match out of solidarity with the injured supporter.
After discussions between captain Manuel Locatelli, teammates, and fan representatives, pressure from the away section intensified, leading to the current suspension.
Players from both teams were eventually sent back to the dressing rooms while officials considered how to proceed.
The suspension adds dramatic uncertainty to a match that already carried enormous sporting significance.
Juventus entered the derby desperately needing a victory to keep alive its hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League under coach Luciano Spalletti.
Failure to win would officially leave the Bianconeri outside the top European competition and mark the club’s lowest Serie A points total since the 2010-11 season.
For Torino, coached by Roberto D’Aversa, even a draw would have been enough to improve on last season’s final point tally.
Before the suspension, both lineups had already been announced.
Torino Starting XI
Alberto Paleari; Saúl Coco, Ardian Ismajli, Saúl Coco; Marcus Pedersen, Emirhan İlkhan, Gvidas Gineitis, Rafa Obrador; Nikola Vlašić; Giovanni Simeone, Duván Zapata.
Juventus Starting XI

The match had been assigned to referee Luca Zufferli.
As of now, Serie A officials have not yet confirmed whether the derby will resume later tonight or be postponed entirely.
