Champions League Race: Halftime Drama as Roma Move Ahead of Juve and Milan!

The Giallorossi lead the derby against Lazio 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mancini, while Juventus are losing 1-0 at home to Fiorentina and Milan are drawing away to Genoa.

At the end of the first 45 minutes of the penultimate Serie A matchday, the standings have been temporarily — and dramatically — shaken up.

AS Roma, managed by Gian Piero Gasperini, are leading 1-0 against SS Lazio in the Rome derby. Lazio have arguably been the better side and created several chances, but Roma took the lead thanks to a headed goal by Gianluca Mancini following a corner kick.

Meanwhile in Turin, ACF Fiorentina have stunned Juventus FC by taking the lead. A goal from Cher Ndour — helped by a mistake from goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio — has seriously complicated the Champions League hopes of Luciano Spalletti’s side, who now need to score twice in the second half without conceding in order to move back ahead of Roma.

At the same time, AC Milan, coached by Massimiliano Allegri, are being held to a 0-0 draw away at Genoa CFC. The Rossoneri need a goal — and must avoid conceding — to stay in the top four with just 90 minutes left in the season.

Elsewhere, Como 1907 are also drawing 0-0 at home against Parma Calcio 1913, while SSC Napoli are cruising to a 2-0 win away at already relegated Pisa SC.
