Juventus coach demands full focus ahead of Sardinia trip and hails his “hidden gem” as the squad keeps growing
Luciano Spalletti is leaving no room for complacency. Ahead of Juventus’ away match against Cagliari, the Bianconeri coach delivered a clear message: this is not a routine Serie A fixture, but a match with Champions League weight.
“Cagliari is worth as much as a Champions League game,” Spalletti said, deliberately brushing aside recent high-profile clashes with Benfica, Napoli and Bayern Munich. “This is the moment when points start to weigh double. Distractions are not allowed.”

Spalletti framed the Sardinia trip as a test of mentality rather than tactics. Juventus, in his view, are still a work in progress but one with significant room to grow.
