Pisa 0-3 Como: Fabregas’ Side Decide It After the Break with a Ruthless Second Half

Perrone and Douvikas strike after halftime as Como dominate the final 45 minutes and collect Europa-chasing points on Matchday 18.

A perfectly managed second half was enough for Como to claim a convincing 3-0 away win over Pisa at the Arena Garibaldi. After a quiet first period, the Lariani raised their level following the break, scoring through Perrone and a Douvikas brace to secure three valuable points in the European race.

The opening 45 minutes offered few clear chances, with Pisa arguably looking the more dangerous side. The hosts pressed with intensity and enthusiasm, while Como struggled to find space and rhythm in the final third. Despite some flashes—most notably from Tramoni—the first half ended goalless and largely uneventful.

Everything changed after halftime. Como returned to the pitch with renewed purpose, and the introduction of Caqueret proved decisive. The French midfielder immediately made an impact, providing the assist for the opener in the 68th minute, when Perrone finished clinically to break the deadlock.

Just minutes later, Como doubled their advantage on the counterattack. Douvikas led the break with power and precision, beating Semper to put the match firmly under the visitors’ control.

Pisa refused to give up and earned a lifeline in the 81st minute when they were awarded a penalty. Nzola stepped up but was denied by a brilliant save from Butez, a moment that effectively ended the home side’s hopes of a comeback.

In stoppage time, another defensive lapse—this time from Coppola—resulted in a second penalty for Como. Douvikas converted calmly in the 96th minute, sealing his brace and the final 3-0 scoreline.

It was a win built on patience and quality after the break, as Fabregas’ Como returned to Lombardy with three points that could prove crucial in the fight for European qualification.
