Parma delivered a potentially season-defining away victory in their battle against relegation, defeating Pisa 1–0 at the Arena Garibaldi. Adrian Benedyczak’s calmly taken penalty in the 40th minute proved decisive in a match marked by intensity, momentum swings, and high-stakes defending.
The visitors started brightly, immediately showing intent. Benedyczak forced Scuffet into an early save, while Pisa responded with a counterattack finished by a soft header from Touré. Parma’s wing play—driven by Valeri and Britschgi—created steady pressure without yielding major chances, yet the team’s overall energy put Pisa on the back foot in the opening stages.
Pisa eventually grew into the match, but the clearest opportunities continued to fall to Parma. In the 37th minute, Britschgi’s deflected shot nearly caught Scuffet off guard, prompting a sharp reaction save.
