Bologna continue their stunning rise under Vincenzo Italiano, sweeping past Udinese thanks to a second-half explosion led by Tommaso Pobega. The Rossoblù join Inter and Roma at the top of Serie A — and still have a game in hand.
Bologna’s momentum shows no sign of slowing. At the Bluenergy Stadium, the Rossoblù delivered a convincing 3–0 win over Udinese, climbing temporarily to first place alongside Inter and Roma. After a balanced first half — marked by Udinese’s bright start and Orsolini’s missed penalty — Bologna took complete control after the break.
The match’s turning point came in the 54th minute. Orsolini pressed aggressively, stole the ball off Solet, and set up Tommaso Pobega at the edge of the box. The midfielder controlled well and fired past Okoye for 1–0. Six minutes later, Pobega struck again, this time punishing a disastrous misunderstanding between Okoye and Karlström for his quick-fire brace.
From there, Bologna were in cruise control. Deep into stoppage time, Federico Bernardeschi — on the pitch for just over 15 minutes — finished off a flowing move to make it 3–0, scoring his first Serie A goal in nearly four years.
With five wins in their last six matches and a solidity that continues to grow, Italiano’s side have firmly inserted themselves into the Scudetto conversation.
