Pisa race to a two-goal lead, but Torino hit back before halftime to salvage a draw in an entertaining Matchday 10 clash.
Torino and Pisa shared the spoils in a thrilling 2–2 draw that left both sides frustrated at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Pisa stunned the hosts with two goals inside the first half hour, only for Torino to fight back and level before the break.
The visitors started aggressively and were rewarded in the 13th minute when Moreo finished off a clever assist from Leris. Sixteen minutes later, the striker doubled his tally from the penalty spot after a foul on Meister — his first two goals in Serie A coming in quick succession.
Torino, however, reacted strongly. Giovanni Simeone rose highest to head home Pedersen’s cross in the 42nd minute, igniting the home crowd. Then, deep into first-half stoppage time, Adams pounced on a loose ball inside the box to make it 2–2, capping a furious response from Marco Baroni’s men.
The second half failed to match the intensity of the opening 45 minutes. Both teams pushed for a winner — with Ngonge lively off the bench for Torino and Nzola threatening for Pisa — but neither could find the finishing touch.
For Torino, it’s a fifth consecutive result without defeat heading into next weekend’s derby. Pisa, meanwhile, remain winless after ten rounds, despite showing flashes of attacking quality under Alberto Gilardino.
