Inter produced a commanding 3-0 win over Slavia Prague at San Siro, with Lautaro Martinez once again proving decisive on the European stage. The Argentine striker bagged a brace, while Denzel Dumfries added the other, as Cristian Chivu’s side collected their second victory in the Champions League League Phase.
The Nerazzurri dominated from the start, pressing high and forcing mistakes from the Czech champions. The breakthrough came in the 30th minute when a poor clearance by goalkeeper Stanek gifted Lautaro a simple tap-in. Just four minutes later, Marcus Thuram burst forward on the counter and teed up Dumfries, who finished smartly at the near post to double Inter’s lead.
In the second half, Inter continued to push. Lautaro nearly turned provider when he released Sucic, only for Chaloupek to clear off the line. The third goal came in the 65th minute after another sweeping move: Thuram and Bastoni combined on the left before the defender squared across goal for Lautaro to bury his second of the night.
