Fiorentina 1-2 Como: Addai Stuns Viola With Stoppage-Time Winner

Como mounts second-half comeback to steal all three points in Florence

Como pulled off a dramatic late victory at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, defeating Fiorentina 2-1 thanks to a stoppage-time strike from Addai. Despite taking an early lead, the Viola suffered their second consecutive home defeat, while Cesc Fabregas’ side climbed to seven points in the Serie A standings.

Fiorentina started strongly, unveiling a new 4-4-2 system that provided both width and defensive stability. Their early pressure paid off in the 6th minute when Mandragora’s initial free-kick was blocked, but he smashed home the rebound with a precise left-footed shot to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

The home side continued to control possession and looked close to doubling their advantage but failed to convert their chances. This allowed Como to slowly grow into the match, with Fabregas’ men pushing higher up the pitch and forcing De Gea into a couple of smart saves before the break.

The second half saw a complete momentum shift. Como dominated from the restart and finally equalized in the 66th minute when Nico Paz delivered a perfect free-kick for Kempf, who rose highest to head past De Gea.

Buoyed by the goal, Como kept pressing for a winner and were rewarded deep into stoppage time. Addai sprinted down the right flank, beat Pongracic with a clever move, and slotted the ball past De Gea to complete the comeback and silence the home crowd.

With this result, Fiorentina remains stuck on just two points, while Como continues its impressive start to the season, climbing up the table with seven points.
