Bologna Looking for a European Opportunity
The Rossoblù side led by Vincenzo Italiano advanced to the Round of 16 after eliminating SK Brann in the playoff round, winning both legs 1–0.
Before last weekend, Bologna had been riding a strong run of five consecutive victories across all competitions. That streak ended in Serie A with a 2–1 defeat against Hellas Verona FC.
Given their current league position, the Europa League could represent Bologna’s best path to return to European competitions next season.
Roma Aim to Stay Strong in Europe
