Como 6-0 Torino: Fabregas’ Side Run Riot at the Sinigallia

A stunning six-goal display keeps Como firmly in the European race as Torino collapse under relentless pressure.

Como delivered one of the most emphatic performances of the Serie A season, demolishing Torino 6-0 at the Sinigallia to continue their remarkable push toward European qualification—and even keep faint Champions League hopes alive.

From the opening minutes, the gulf in quality and intensity between the two sides was glaring. Como set the tone early and took the lead in the 9th minute when Douvikas was played through perfectly by Da Cunha and finished with confidence. Torino barely had time to reorganize before conceding again: in the 16th minute, Baturina unleashed a superb right-footed strike to double the advantage.

By halftime, the match already felt decided. Torino were passive and disjointed, while Como moved the ball with ease and purpose. The second half turned into a rout.

The hosts struck four times after the break, overwhelming a Torino defense that completely lost its bearings. Douvikas grabbed his second of the night on 66 minutes, capping another sharp attacking move. Shortly before that, Da Cunha had already made his mark again by winning and converting a penalty to make it 4-0. In the space of just ten devastating minutes, Kuhn and Caqueret joined the scoresheet, stretching the lead to an almost surreal 6-0.

For Torino, the final whistle came as a relief. The performance raised serious questions about Ivan Jurić’s future, with pressure mounting on the Granata bench after such a humiliating defeat.

For Como, instead, the dream continues. Fabregas’ team not only confirmed their excellent form but also sent a strong message to rivals Roma and Juventus in the battle for fourth place. With football of this quality and confidence, the Biancoblù are no longer a surprise—they are genuine contenders.
