Como continue their remarkable early-season run, defeating Sassuolo 2–0 at the Sinigaglia to temporarily move level with Inter and Bologna on 24 points. The marquee change in the starting XI saw Douvikas preferred to Morata — a decision rewarded almost immediately. At the 14th minute, the Greek forward held off Muharemovic and guided in a cross-shot from Moreno to make it 1–0.
