On the last day of the market, former Juventus man Kevin Bonifazi switched teams. The defender leaves Bologna, the owner of the player’s card, and on a loan deal goes to further reinforce Serie B leader Sassuolo, which also picked up Mazzitelli and Verdi from Como.
With the Friulian shirt on Bonifazi had made 32 appearances (30 in Serie A and 2 in the Italian Cup) in the 2020/2021 football year.
The player, in the first part of the season, had worn the Lecce jersey, again on loan, taking the field for just 63′ minutes out of three total appearances.
