With little more than an hour to go before the official close of the soccer market, a glimmer of hope has opened up for Brenner at Watford: a lightning negotiation between the two Pozzo family clubs that would be aimed at re-evaluating the Brazilian footballer, who was paid as much as 10 million euros two summers ago at FC Cincinnati, and who seems to have fallen out of the offensive hierarchies of coach Kosta Runjaic.
The alternative, which is certainly more feasible at least in terms of timing given that the soccer market in Brazil does not close until next February 28, seems to be a return to his homeland where clubs such as Atletico Mineiro, Palmeiras, Botafogo and Cruzeiro would still be interested in the black and white fantasist.
