“We are dismayed by the incidents that have occurred and strongly condemn all violent acts, in this case committed under the bogus aegis of cheering. We stand by the Udinese Calcio club and the Udinese and Friulian fans, who have been vilified by such incidents, and we will work with even greater conviction to convey the values of proper sports culture at all levels.”
