“Yes, it is very similar to my hometown, La Linea. You can feel that you are also here in the South: people are very warm, friendly. I was welcomed well both in the club and in the city. But the thing that surprised me the most are the fans: every time we go to play away games, a lot of people follow us,” he told Corriere dello Sport, also recounting his own Madrid faith (“Real fan, like my grandfather”).
