Former defender Luigi De Agostini, who also wore the Udinese jersey in the past, spoke on the pages of Il Messaggero Veneto in an interview extolling Lucca and berating Runjaic. These are his main statements made to colleagues.
LUCCA – “He continues to score and prompts a thought related to supplies: with such a prolific striker, crosses from the back line are needed. Instead, the Friulans struggle to push the outfielders to one-on-one to jump the man and go for the cross. Then everyone is free to choose how to play.”
MISTER KOSTA RUNJAIC – “Let’s say that the game with Atalanta a few weeks ago was the best ever, so I would have expected us to continue on that line especially as an attitude. Then I don’t understand why the team is almost never confirmed, or rather reproposed.”
REACTION MISSED – “After the drubbing in Como I expected quite another reaction with Roma: Lucca should be supplied with crosses from far more enterprising outfielders. There are too many goals conceded, although the two penalties given to Roma are at least doubtful. Indeed, the first one was not there because Kabasele certainly could not cut his arm with the ball that was coming to him, while on the second there was the co-participation of Sava who opted for a risky exit.”
TRIDENTE – “It would be enough to lock down the defense a bit and toughen up the midfield. With Sanchez, Thauvin and Lucca, the potential, shots and goals of these players could be exploited. Courage is always needed and soccer is full of these lessons. The game with Venice happens on cue: it is the game to take home at any cost.”
