“It was a great game from the whole team. I’m very happy with the path we took, this competition made us grow in many ways. Obviously looking back you realize that we missed a few points that could have made us even more joyful.” These are the words of Tommaso Pobega after the 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon.
“Today we tried to always attack the spaces and the area, but unfortunately we were unable to bring home the 3 points. A victory would have been ideal, especially for morale – added the midfielder – But we know we have to continue on this path. We work well and a lot during the week, we are a large squad with quality players, but there is still room for improvement. On some shots today I could have been more accurate, I will work on it even more.”
