The Gasperini era has begun, although the chrism of formality is still missing. The coach from Grugliasco is ready to sign with Roma and walk through the gates of Trigoria to begin planning for the Giallorossi’s future.
The announcement is expected over the weekend, just enough time to sort out the last bureaucratic details. No doubt about the deal, which has been closed for days now: Gasp will be Roma’s new coach.
The first piece concerns the technical staff. With Gasperini will land in the capital the historic deputy Tullio Gritti, a trusted man since his time at Genoa. Cristian Raimondi, on the other hand, will not follow, who will remain in Bergamo at the service of his successor on the Atalanta bench.
The knot of athletic trainers seems to be on the verge of being solved: Gasp is pushing to have his benchmark triptych, consisting of Domenico Borrelli, Gabriele Boccolini and Giacomo Milesi, with him. For the former, the way is paved; for the other two, uncertainty still remains. No go, however, for the return of Dr. Riccardo Del Vescovo, former Giallorossi doctor.
