Le parole del presidente della regione Lazio Rocca al convegno su bullismo e cyberbullismo

The President began by thanking the authorities present, starting with President Mezzaroma. Here are his words, “We must discover the other, understand its beauty and uniqueness. I feel in this capacity all our failure, all that we institutions should have done and did not do. The element of division is the evil of our society; we first are bullies toward others. We first have to educate ourselves to discover in the other their authenticity.

Words hurt more than a broken bone. Those who have lived through it can then retaliate and in turn repeat an act of violence. We need to hold all social, civil and religious sides together. I do not give lessons on bullying because we adults are the first ones who must try to be less bullying and violent, including verbally. This is an important initiative; to conclude let me make a joke…in Rome as a Lazio I feel a bit bullied.”
