AC Milan’s defeat against Dinamo Zagreb changes everything, the calendar is again turned upside down. All the details

There was a remote possibility of hurting themselves, and Milan managed to do it. Losing to Dinamo Zagreb was the one thing not to do in order not to complicate life. It was an opportunity more unique than rare, one that the Rossoneri had earned by the path they had taken with Paulo Fonseca and the magical night in Madrid, and instead in Croatia a shuddering defeat really came. Chills because the performance was embarrassing, without head or tail, with the usual bad attitude and an approach of a team that has little, if anything, to do with Milan’s history. Things seen and seen again, but tonight it was rock bottom.
The defeat forces Milan to play for access to the Champions League round of 16 via the Play Offs, which means that in February the Rossoneri will play two more games. So, just to flood an already very complicated schedule even more. Incidentally, the Rossoneri could find themselves facing Juventus in these Play Offs for an all-Italian derby. The play-off again upsets the calendar as mentioned and so the Bologna-Milan rematch slips again.
Quando si recupera Bologna-Milan, il problema continua
Without Play Offs, Milan would have had weeks off in February and thus there would have been a chance to put the Renato Dall’Ara match on the calendar for a rescheduled date. The match was originally scheduled for Oct. 26, but due to the flooding that hit the Emilia capital in the days leading up to it, it was decided to postpone it until a later date.

So far there has been no chance because of the many commitments of both teams because Bologna also played the first phase of the Champions League but will not continue as they were eliminated. The elimination of Vincenzo Italiano’s team and Milan straight into the round of 16 would therefore have created space in the calendar to include this rematch.
Instead, it will not be possible to play this game in February. So now when? Good question, unanswered to date. Everything will depend on the Rossoneri’s path in the Champions League: if the Play Off goes badly, then Milan’s European campaign will be over and there will be time and a way to do it. If, on the other hand, Milan goes to the round of 16, then it will be further postponed. In short, a big problem that the Rossoneri will carry with them for quite a while yet.
