Interviewed for Stile Tv, Marco Fassone spoke about Juventus’ season. Here are his words, “Napoli and Inter have something more than Juventus because they are very proven from a corporate point of view. They have behind them the 11 and the coach, a society that works and has remained very solid. Juventus, on the other hand, is still lacking in this, it is in a restructuring phase, this Juve resembles mine, the one after Calciopoli. So, Napoli and Inter are a little bit ahead, although I really like Atalanta and I hope that sooner or later they will achieve success not only in Italy, but also in Europe.”
Fassone: “La Juve ha dovuto fare una cura dimagrante”
The former executive continued: “Juventus’ new course? If we had imagined Juve six months ago, on the eve of Giuntoli’s first campaign, we would never have thought that the team would struggle. Juventus, however, has had to take a slimming treatment from the point of view of the buying campaign.” Finally, on Antonio Conte’s impact at Napoli, Fassone added, “Conte before coming to Napoli will have chatted at length with De Laurentiis and laid the foundations for a solid relationship. The president as an intelligent person, taking someone like him made choices. I think he is very present, although he is not seen as much anymore, De Laurentiis is an indispensable figure because he gives solidity. When things are going well you don’t notice, but when things are not going very well having someone like him at the helm is a security.” Meanwhile, Juventus is pondering a possible new big sale <<<
