David Neres’ injury led Enrico Fedele to express a clear and sharp message, here are his words to microphones
David Neres’ injury has complicated several plans at home Napoli, however, not according to Enrico Fedele, who called it a fluke. Without the Brazilian, the Azzurri have picked up few points from the field and, often, there has not been that sudden shock useful to split the match in two.
Neres was initially not making Kvaratskhelia’s departure weigh heavily, but then constant injuries changed his season. Now the former Benfica and Ajax man is back available, but he still does not have 90 minutes in his legs and, therefore, will not play as a starter-at least for now-not even against Parma.
Possibile scudetto domenica sera, ecco la nota del Comune di Napoli
Enrico Fedele, a former prosecutor and sports executive, has come out in the open about the injury suffered by Neres, expressing his thoughts that many do not agree with.
“Neres’ injury was fortunate. He was on and off in one half, only to be punctually replaced in the second half.” – Fedele said to the microphones of Radio Marte.

More on Neres:
“In his history he has never scored more than six or seven goals a season. Even with him at his best, the Scudetto would not have been won yet.”
Finally, Fedele talked about how Antonio Conte never relies on Noah Okafor, taken to make up for the departure of Kvara, Cyril Ngonge, and Rafa Marin:
“Will it be an act of spite? Let’s not make it out to be stubborn. No one can know better than Conte why they don’t play. He has 12 footballers in his mind, though; he only ever uses those.”
