However it goes, it will be a success. Inter is preparing for the match of a lifetime against Barcelona and will play for access to the Champions League final. Obviously, passing the round and making it to the last act will make all the difference in the world on a sporting level. But on the economic level, for Inter, this championship has already been more than positive.

The run on the three fronts, with even the Club World Cup to come, has given great oxygen to the Nerazzurri’s budget, with significant revenues that will finally allow Inter to look at the market with a different eye.

Simone Inzaghi, in order to stay, has asked for specific guarantees: a roster that is up to the task, capable of fighting for all goals and holding the weight of an eventual triumph on all fronts that might slip away this year, but just barely.

At the coach’s disposal at the end of this season, there could be up to 130 million euros to invest in the market. The goal is not only to strengthen the starting team, but above all to complete the roster with reserves that are up to par. In this sense, the department that will most need a makeover will definitely be the attack.

Inter, sarà restyling in attacco: già ufficiale la cessione di Satriano

It will certainly be curious to see what the conformation of the Nerazzurri attack will be next year. After a season in which Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram shone only in flashes and there was in fact a vacuum behind them, it will be important to fill that vacuum so as not to panic every time one of the two starters is missing, as indeed happened again this year.

Lautaro and Thuram are the two pillars on which to rebuild next season as well, but behind them the alternatives have not convinced. Arnautovic and Correa are expiring and will leave, while a new arrangement will be found for Taremi anyway, probably in Turkey, even though he is not a free agent.

And there is another striker who would have returned to the squad this summer after a loan, but instead will remain where he is. This is Martin Satriano, who was on loan with a buy-back obligation to Lens, France. The obligation was triggered because the conditions were met: the French Giallorossi’s stay in Ligue 1.

The sale enriches the coffers of Inter, which will collect 5 million euros from the outright sale of the Uruguayan center forward. Money in the till, then, and another striker leaving, although he was never really part of the Nerazzurri squad. It is the first piece of what will be a mini-refoundation, at least in the second lines.

After Satriano, Taremi, Arnautovic and Correa will leave. And two, maybe three forwards will arrive, to leave nothing to chance and ensure that in the coming season Inter can play in all competitions without suffering the setbacks experienced this year when the starters stopped.
