Toro, Cairo: “Us without Zapata like Inter without Lautaro.”

Cairo ha rilasciato alcune dichiarazioni sul Toro alla presentazione della tappa di Roma come città finale del Giro d’Italia

Torino president Urbano Cairo made some statements at the presentation of the Rome stage as the grand finale of the next edition of the Giro d’Italia.

The patron spoke about the absence of Duvan Zapata and the team’s season: “I would say that we are in tenth place this year which is not bad at all in light especially of the injury to Zapata which certainly took away an important player for what he was doing but also for his ability to be a glue for the team. If Inter had lost Lautaro or Thuram for the whole season they would have done different things.”

“Obiettivi per la prossima stagione? Meglio fare le cose a fari spenti”

Cairo added, “Then let’s not forget that we strengthened the team in January and now we are here in the last four days to do the best we can.”

The Taurus president went on to say, “Goals for next season? I have learned that giving yourself goals is not a good thing, better to do things with lights off, with right grafts, and then in all teams there are replacements of players that are sold and bought, the important thing is to find the right players to strengthen the team.”
