Finally a joy, and what a joy. Milan finally gives itself a good night with a three-nil victory over Inter in the Coppa Italia semifinal return leg. The Rossoneri will then be in Rome on May 14 to challenge, most likely, Vincenzo Italiano’s Bologna (who will face Empoli in the return leg after the 3-0 first leg). The statistics are incredible: after six defeats in a row in past years, the Rossoneri this season have never lost to Inter in five matches. Three wins and two draws.
Paulo Fonseca and Conceicao managed in a short time to do what Pioli failed to do in several years. It was a useful and intelligent way to close out the match, without even sinking the blow for a possible four-nil. At that point the Rossoneri side of San Siro (with the other Nerazzurri half having quickly emptied the stadium) began with the accompanying classic olés.

The scene did not please Simone Inzaghi who, at one point, turned furiously against the fourth man: “I don’t want the recovery, eh! Don’t fuck with me, eh. I don’t want it, I don’t want it!” And indeed, the referee whistled the end of the game a few seconds after the 90th minute. Thus pleased the Nerazzurri coach, who did not like Milan’s final possession and perhaps even the possibility of taking another goal. A surreal scene that quickly went viral on social media: the video was shared by so many people.

Not a good scene for a coach who feels free to do whatever he wants on the sidelines without repercussions. The caution came only after the game was over after Inzaghi, as usual, joined the referee in the middle of the field to complain. Of what, it is not known.
