The one against Como was not the best performance of the year for Torino – to use an understatement. At least from the point of view of the result, because as repeated several times by Vanoli in the post, at the level of chances created the one at Sinigaglia was perhaps among the most “dangerous”. Lots of shots by the grenadians, which, however, as has often happened throughout the year, proved to be less than cynical near the opponent’s goal. A common denominator of many games played so far, perhaps also due to the recent somewhat underwhelming performance of the attackers. In this sense, Adams and Sanabria have been less and less convincing in recent weeks: even against the Larians, who started together from 1′, the two failed to make a difference.

14 games together, 602 minutes, yet throughout the year neither Adams nor Sanabria ever contributed a goal when they shared the attack. A paradoxical figure in some ways and a very negative one in others, which nevertheless tells of how the two have not yet learned to coexist in this troubled season. Seven times Vanoli has deployed them both from the first minute, but the substance has not changed. In Como, there was yet another demonstration of how perhaps, by now for this year, the best thing would be to deploy only one of them and make a sort of relay match in progress. Vanoli tried to impress, however, but failed to do so. Turin has to deal with the Adams-Sanabria case: strong (though less so lately) on their own, ineffective as a pair.
