The match between Atalanta and Milan is still ongoing and sees the Nerazzurri leading by one goal thanks to Ederson’s goal that came midway through the second half. The Rossoneri gave a good performance in general but failed to find the way of the goal, at least for now. The match was also marked by some rather dubious refereeing episodes: in the first half, a nonexistent offside was whistled to Rafael Leao, who was sprinting toward the opponent’s goal. And already this is a first glaring error.
Unfortunately, another one came in the second half: a foul by Cuadrado on Theo Hernandez who was going full speed toward the goal. Slipping, the Colombian hit the Frenchman full on and risked hurting him quite badly. Referee Piccinini chose to just caution him, but fans immediately took to social media to point out that it was a much more serious foul than a simple yellow. Without any doubt, there could have been an expulsion: the foul is bad and it also put at risk the leg of Theo Hernandez, who flew several meters ahead.
