Sacchi: “If I were a Roma manager I would make a call to Ancelotti. Would he have difficulties? Let’s not joke…”

ROMA FOOTBALL NEWS – Arrigo Sacchi, Carlo Ancelotti’s football father, gave an interview to the daily sports newspaper and addressed suggestions regarding the possible return of the current Real Madrid coach to Serie A. His words:

“I don’t know what Carletto will want to do. It seems to me that the Brazilian Football Federation has been under him for some time and the possibility of playing a World Cup on the Seleçao bench is tempting. In any case, if I were a manager of AC Milan or Roma I would give Carletto a call: it doesn’t cost anything.”

Staying on the topic of romance, there has been talk of possible interest from Roma.
“Carletto, football-wise, has come of age at Roma. He is very attached to the city, he is loved by the fans. When I wanted him at AC Milan, he was the captain of the Giallorossi, and snatching him from President Dino Viola was anything but easy. For him it would be like becoming a boy again, even though he has gray hair now.”

Wouldn’t Rome’s particularly passionate environment risk putting him in difficulty?
“Put him in difficulty? Are you kidding? Carletto is someone who wasn’t afraid even when he was confronted by a bear during a vacation in Canada…I’m sure that if the friends who were with him hadn’t told him it was better to get away, Carlo would have befriended the bear. He is a paste of a man. He can make everyone love him and everyone respects him.”
