The note then continued, “In the event that our club communicates this in writing by January 15, 2026, it will have the option to permanently acquire the player for a sum of 8,000,000 euros. This amount will be paid in six installments. If our club does not exercise the option to purchase by January 15, 2026, it will have the option to extend the loan free of charge until June 30, 2026″

Galatasaray therefore has a chance to keep Alvaro Morata by pouring another 8-9 million euros into the Diavolo’s coffers, for a total of 14-15 million, and according to reports in the Turkish press, the Istanbul club appears intent on doing so.
It is the Takvim news outlet that writes about it, claiming how the Spaniard is really doing well in Turkey together with his wife Alice Campello, who is also Leo’s intention to stay in Istanbul. It is no coincidence that a few weeks ago Morata declared, “I would like to stay at Galatasaray for a long time, but they must also want me to stay. I am very happy here, they treat me very well and with affection.” There seems to be, therefore, no doubt about the will of the Morata family
